What Size Waroo?
Deciding to buy a Waroo is the easy part,
now you just need to pick the right size.
Its ok, we're happy to help.
If the above wind chart is confusing, don't worry, its normal.
There are many factors contributing to choosing a kite size.
Wind Range Example: I weigh 145 and in 12-14 knots can ride with a 13m Waroo
on a small
Twin-tip board, or in the same winds can ride my 9m Waroo with a 6' surfboard.
Smaller board need more power ( larger kite or higher wind )
Larger ( or more efficient ) board needs less power ( smaller kite or less wind )
If only getting 1 kite, the 11m Waroo is a Very versatile size.
For average weight people the most popular 2 kite combo is 9m + 13m.
My favorite Waroo Quiver combo is 7m, 9m, and 13m
Others prefer a combo with larger sizes: 9, 11, 15
For lightweights, and surfers, a 7m and 11m combo is popular.
Many factors affect the Kite size thats right for you:
Your weight,
your board, your skill level, and the predominant
wind speed in your area.
