Rush IV (4) ? Why a "Pro" ?
HQ is now making its 4th generation of the Rush Kites and calling them " Rush-III ".
The latest III series is a lower aspect shape compared to last seasons Rush II Design and a nice improvement! The Newest design feels better in every respect. More Stable in the air, smoother, faster and easier relaunching, and flies better in less wind.
In HQ's dictionary the word "PRO" means "3-line Configuration". To us "PRO" seems like an odd choice words for a kite model designed for beginners.
We've been waiting years for someone to finally release a trainer kite with 3-lines!
3-lines on 2.5m to 3.5m trainer kites is the best combination of features.
2-line kites are simple and low price.
4-line kites add reverse relaunching, at a much higher price.
3-lines like the Rush PRO kites fall right in the middle offering a perfect balance of characteristics for a trainer.
Reverse relaunching and at a Great price.
It's no surprise that the 3-line trainer kites are now the most popular design sold.
What Size? Which kite is right for me?
The HQ Rush-IV Pro Series Trainers are available in 3 sizes: 250, 300, and 350
Rush IV 250 Pro is ideal for Lightweights, or for people having the luxury of living in an area with predominantly strong wind.
Rush IV 300 PRO and 350 Pro are both ideal for most average size adults flying in typical
7-15 mph winds.
The 300 pro is more popular for families, or for use by a variety of different size people.
If your goal is to learn and prepare for progressing onto other kite sports, the 300 has the power to get you ready.
Rush IV 350 Pro is a little larger and thus more powerful than the 300 pro.
The 350 is a good choice for:
Athletic people
People who want the extra versatility to possibly later use the same trainer kite as an entry level
kite for learning to ride with a mountain board ( kite-Landboarding ), or with skis or Snowboard
( snow-kiting ).
Average weight people in lighter winds areas
Or for Heavier people in stronger winds.
Bottom line is that it depends on YOUR needs.
The 350 be used by lighter or average weight people who like a challenge
and want the extra versatility of a more powerful kite.
If you're 190 or more, get the 350 for sure.
If your 140-180, and want to feel the power, you can also fly the 350.
For Smaller people, or cautious types the Rush 250 Pro is good.
For Athletic types who tend to approach sports more aggressively, and demand versatility
the Rush 350 Pro was made for you!

In this video (below), shows a girl flying the 350 in Moderate winds. Notice how the 350 model is easily dragging her around. ( Note: The drags are caused by steering the kite quickly across the sky. Slower steady movements produce much less power.)
2nd video ( Below ) a girl flying the very same size Rush Pro 350 model in lighter winds.
For families with small kids,
a smaller 2-line Rush-III 200 standard would be a good option
