Rush III (3) ? Why a "Pro" ?
HQ is now making its 3rd generation of the Rush Kites and calling them " Rush-III ".
The latest III series is a lower aspect shape compared to last seasons Rush II Design and a nice improvement! The Newest design feels better in every respect. More Stable in the air, smoother, faster and easier relaunching, and flys better in less wind.
In HQ's dictionary the word "PRO" means "3-line Configuration". To us "PRO" seems like an odd choice words for a kite model designed for beginners.
We've been waiting years for someone to finally release a trainer kite with 3-lines!
3-lines on 2.5m to 3.5m trainer kites is the best combination of features.
2-line kites are simple and low price.
4-line kites add reverse relaunching, at a much higher price.
3-lines like the Rush PRO kites fall right in the middle offering a perfect balance of characteristics for a trainer.
Reverse relauching and at a Great price.
It's no surprise that the 3-line trainer kites are now the most popular design sold.
What Size? Which kite is right for me?
The HQ Rush-III Pro Series Trainers are available in 3 sizes: 250, 300, and 350
Rush III 250 Pro is ideal for Lightweights, or for people haing the luxury of living in an area with predominantly strong wind.
Rush III 300 Pro is ideal for most average size adults with more typical light to moderate winds.
The 300 is by far the most popular trainer kite for families, or for use by a variety of different size people. If your goal is to learn and prepare for progressing onto other kite sports, the 300 has the power to get you ready.
Rush III 350 Pro is the largest and most powerful of the Trainers.
If you plan to use your trainer with a Land-board ( aka Mountain board ), or with skis, or a snowboard, you'll appreciate the extra power.
The 350 be used by lighter or average weight people who like a challenge
and want the extra versatility of a more powerful kite.
The 350 is also ideal for larger heavier people. The 350 for a person weight 200 lbs, would
be similar to a person of 150 using the 300 model.
For Families that only want 1 kite, the Rush III 300 PRO is a good choice.
For Smaller people, or cautious types the Rush 250 Pro is good.
For Athletic types who tend to approach sports more aggressively, and demand versatility
the Rush 350 Pro was made for you!

In this video (below), shows a girl flying the 350 in Moderate winds. Notice how the 350 model is easily dragging her around. ( Note: The drags are caused by steering the kite quickly across the sky. Slower steady momements produce much less power.)

For families with small kids,
a smaller 2-line Rush-III 200 standard would be a good option
