Financial Crisis? Based on Kite sales during most of '09 .. I'd say, "obviously" but
Now looking at Kite sales in November and December, I'd say " What crisis??? ".
Either the economy has truely improved, or people have just figured out that
life to too short to put off Kiting and other things that are part of lifes magic.
When out kiting, you are NOT thinking about the past, or the future, or bills, or anything else except the wind, water, and fun!

Looks like the Americans are finally figuring out what the Europeans already know...
The Kahoona is NO beginners kite. It's a performance kite that makes kiting more more fun and easier. Last month I thought the Kahoona was a great kite, but this month after more than 3 weeks of flying it on an ESP Control bar, It's true love! : ) The Best Redline and SLE control bars did an "ok" job, but the Kahoona is far better than I even imagined with the Core ESP.

Best Waroo 2010's have arrived but a only a small quantity of 9m and 11m sizes. The next batch is expected sometime this month (November). Most likely Mid-Month.

We've just received news that HQ Kites will be releasing the second generation of their Amphibious Sheetable ( depowerable ) Neo Kite. Looks for the new " Neo II " is be available sometime in November. Don't expect a big closeout on the original Neo because all sizes except for the 11m have already been sold out.

The 2010 Best Waroo has been delayed from it's originally slated "late Sept"
Release date until Oct 20th.

Many new updates to our website. Re-writes, added info, and some complete new pages are being uploaded on a daily basis.
For example: Our Previous single trainer kite page now occupies 5 pages!.
We've added a new Site map with links to everything in one place.
Our Snow kiting page is all new.
A new "Kite-Skimming" page will be uploaded shortly. If you're already kiteboarding and have never tried riding strapless on a surfboard or skimboard... Add it to your list!

The difference from riding a twin-tip to a surf or skim, is like going from skiing to snowboarding, or like going from telemarking to downhill, or like "a dog on a lease" to "puppy
racing around the house". Agreed, that last one is a little strange. : ) It's just difficult to explain the loose and free feeling when you leave the footstraps behind.

Our site updates are now more than 1/2 way done. Most people have no idea about the true size of this site. It won't be a secret once the new pages and site map go up. A clean new look and some nice surprises.

The Gear manufacturer keep a pretty tight leash on advertised pricing.
When shopping online most of what you'll see are list prices.
Please let us know if you get a legitimate offer for a lower price somewhere else.
